The Knicks have been “reluctant” to debate RJ Barrett and Mitchell Robison in potential trades, experiences Zach Lowe of ESPN.
Lowe’s report because it pertains to Barrett echoes what SNY’s Ian Begley reported on Oct. 21.
Per Begley, “a number of folks in contact with decision-makers at MSG say they anticipate that the Knicks will take a participant’s match with/affect on RJ Barrett into consideration when contemplating a possible transfer.”
That the Knicks are factoring in how any exterior additions may mesh with Barrett means that they view Barrett as a key cog, not a commerce chip.
Because it pertains to Robinson, his title is the one whispered about essentially the most when the Knicks are related to a possible commerce for a star or a commerce up within the draft.
There have been no experiences, although, that the Knicks are procuring the 22-year-old Robinson, who has been considered one of New York’s most efficient gamers since making his NBA debut throughout the 2018-19 season.
